Milford to Conduct Emergency Snow Removal Downtown
Because there is simply no where else to put the snow, the Public Works Department will remove the snow from Milford's downtown.

The Milford Police Department is announcing that Emergency Snow Removal by the Public Works Department will be taking place on the below listed dates in the Milford Center Area, according to a prepared statement released by officials Thursday afternoon.
- March 9, 2015 from 11:00pm until March 10, 2015 at 8:00 a.m.
- March 10, 2015 from 11:00 pm until March 11, 2015 at 8:00 a.m.
- March 11, 2015 from 11:00 pm until March 12, 2015 at 8:00 am
The following areas will be posted with “Emergency No Parking” signs. Vehicles found in violation may be subjected to being towed and/or fined.
- West Main Street (from Constitution Drive - West River Street)
- West River Street (from West Main Street - River Street)
- River Street (from West River Street - North Broad Street)
- North Broad Street (from River Street - Greens End)
- South Broad Street (from Center Street - River Street)
A message will be distributed to the area regarding these activities through the Milford Alerts System also.

“We are encouraging area residents and businesses to assist in facilitating the snow removal by cooperating with the parking restrictions,” police officials said in a prepared statement.
