MILFORD, CT — The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Milford is approaching 500, according to the latest data from the state Department of Public Health.

A total of 486 cases have been reported and 52 deaths involving Milford residents.

Milford officials announced Monday that several city-owned outdoor recreation facilities will reopen for Milford residents only as long as proper safety and social distancing measures are respected.

The facilities reopening include the community gardens at Eisenhower Park, skatepark, tennis courts, pickleball courts, The Orchards Golf Course, Walnut, Gulf, Anchor, and Hawley Avenue beaches.
