The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:

The single most pressing issue facing our town within our education system is that the children and parents of Milford do not know their opportunities.
What we need are open job fairs with local companies to show the opportunity for paid apprenticeships. Companies such as Sikorsky, Schick, and Metro-North Railroad will pay your children’s college tuition as they earn a paycheck.
We also have the USMAP Programs through the military that will give you a license once you come out of the military.
We need more programs that give your sons and daughters the opportunity to get the two years of experience through volunteering, paid apprenticeships, programs that have the same structure as Platt Tech where you have the ability to work during school hours and have the curriculum given to you to access in after school studies or even remote learning.
We need more shadowing programs to teach and show children the ability of different crafts and different industries.
Next, we also need sports programs that are not the mainstream sports. Sports such as water polo, field hockey, and fencing have a small pool of children playing but have the same amount of government grants and free ride scholarships to colleges that are in desperate need of filling up positions in that sport!
All together, we just need the experience of working people to show why your child is learning what they are learning. How does your child’s schooling translate to the future?
LET'S PUT YOUR KIDS AHEAD OF THE CURVE!!
Critical differences between me and my opponents:
My friends across the aisle I admire because they give their time to help Milford Schools the best way they know how. Unfortunately, and what I have seen, is that they get them ready only for college and for a massive amount of student debt. They prepare them for degrees and then enter a completely unrelated field. They prepare them for a degree that they need to get a certain job that they do not love doing, but it just pays enough to get a paycheck that covers their student loans.
I have the experience that I can see beyond graduation.
I have the vision to see their future without the ball and chain of the dreaded student loans!
Accomplishments:
My experience has been both in and outside the classroom. The following is what I have accomplished at 26 years old.
1) Plumbing Masters License
This License requires 2,000 hours of schooling, 8,000 hours of on-the-job training through an apprenticeship, a two-hour Monitor Test to receive a Journals License (P2), on-the-job training for another two years, then another five hour Monitor test for my Masters Plumbing License (P1)
2) Milford Housing Investment
This requires an understanding of loans. Having a team of realtors, lawyers, and contractors to buy a house and renovate it all. Communication, leadership, integrity, organization, and working with many different personalities and people.
3) CDL Class B with Hazmat and Tanker endorsement
This license requires a road test and multiple written tests.
4) Milford Volunteer
I have been involved with many organizations and volunteered my time to improve Milford and the community such as Milford Little League, Knights of Columbus, and local Catholic Churches.

Other issues:
The other issue I would love to help with would be the CRT. This is a new program that teaches Critical Race Theory that I'm very excited to see within the public schools. History has always had struggles and hard times, but I want history to be taught as unbiased as possible. Civil Rights motivated me to be involved with politics. We want all cultures to be represented in our teachings of history. We want to respect everyone as well as admire the culture they bring to Milford and to the USA. Hate and self-guilt have no place within our school. We need to celebrate what we bring to help our society!
We need to tell all of our story!
What else would you like voters to know about you?
The citizens of Milford should know that no matter what happens on the night of election day, that we all live together. We all have work in the morning, and we give our time because Milford is our home. Milford has always been my home and always will be. All I am is a volunteer. No matter what, I'll still be giving my time for Milford!
I am a servant and I will always serve. Please contact me with any questions!
