Milford Fire Department Chili Takes Home People's Choice Award

The Milford Yacht Club hosted the fifth annual Police and Firefighter Chili Festival to benefit Special Olympics Connecticut.

Saturday's winners

Milford Fire Department's chili came in first place in the People's Choice category. Team members: Lieutenant Stephen Rabel and firefighters Gil Hoyt, Jason Bocchetta and Justin Edo.

Eastern Connecticut State University's Police Department's chili came in first place in the Judges' Choice category.  Team members: Lieutenant Tom Madera, Mary-Ann Murolo, Michelle Murolo and Meghan Scull.

Stratford Fire Department's chili came in second place in both the Judges' Choice and People's Choice categories. Team members: Lieutenant Matt Morse, Lieutenant Mike Camperlengo and firefighter Brian Sigovitch.
