Milford Health And Rehab Fire Contained

MILFORD, CT — Firefighters quickly contained a fire at Milford Health and Rehabilitation Center on Platt Street Friday morning.

All available fire units went to the scene in case the fire spread and the building had to be evacuated, according Milford Professional Firefighters.

The fire was contained to a drying machine in the laundry room. Firefighters ventilated the area and nearly all residents were able to stay in place.
