Milford Hospital to Hold 'Dinner with the Doctor' Program on Joint Pain

From Milford Hospital: Milford Hospital to Hold “Dinner with the Doctor” Program on Joint Pain. If you’re having difficulty maintaining an active lifestyle due to joint pain, then you will not want to miss this event! On Wednesday, October 25th at 6:00pm, Milford Hospital will host the next in their series of “Dinner with the Doctor” programs. Join orthopaedic specialist, Dr. Michael Lim for a free dinner and discussion our Understanding Your Joint Pain. During his program Dr. Lim will discuss the anatomy of your joints and the causes of joint pain. Dr. Lim will focus on a variety of non-surgical therapies as well as advanced surgical interventions for managing your joint pain.

Dr. Lim treats patients of all ages that suffer from joint pain and conditions of the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee and ankle. He is fellowship-trained in total joint replacement and revision of failed hip or knee surgeries. He has advanced training in cartilage restoration procedures and the preservation of joints to avoid surgical intervention. Dr. Lim specializes in minimally invasive, muscle sparing surgical procedures and enhanced recovery after surgery to improve patient outcomes.

"This event is an excellent opportunity for anyone who has been experiencing hip or knee pain, but isn’t sure if they require advanced treatment or surgical intervention" said Karen Kipfer, Director of Community Relations. "Dr. Lim will provide information and education regarding the causes, diagnosis and a wide variety of treatment options from conservative to surgical. Participants will have the opportunity to have their questions answered by Dr. Lim"

The session will be held in the Milford Hospital Auditorium, 300 Seaside Avenue in Milford. A light, healthy supper will be served. The event is free, but registration is required.
