Milford Hospital Never Penalized Over Federal Program: Report
A total of 15 hospitals in CT have been penalized for high infection rates, injuries. Milford Hospital has never been penalized.

MILFORD, CT — A total of 15 Connecticut hospitals will lose 1 percent of their Medicare payments in 2018 due to high infection rates and injuries, reports the Connecticut Health Investigative Team. Milford Hospital is among eight hospitals in Connecticut that has never been penalized since the federal program began four years ago.
Hospital officials in Connecticut told C-HIT that they are working to improve patient care while the Connecticut Center for Patient Safety said not enough is being done to make all hospitals in the state safer.
