Milford Increases Beach Parking Fees For Non-Residents: Report

Here is a look at how much more you'll have to pay to enjoy parking at the beach in Milford, if you're a non-resident.

MILFORD, CT — If you're not a Milford resident and you want to park at the beach then you're going to have to pay more money. The cost for parking at the beach is increasing from $15 to $20 and it will cost you $2.50 an hour to park on certain side streets near Walnut Beach for out-of-towners, the New Haven Register reports. Several kiosks will be added on East Broadway and Viscount Drive.

The fees will be in effect the Saturday before Memorial Day and until Labor Day. There are no fees for Milford residents. Non-residents also have the option of buying a season pass for parking costing $150.
