Milford Kindergarten Registration Opens For 2025-26 School Year
Milford Public Schools invites families of children born on or before September 1, 2020 to register for Kindergarten.

MILFORD, CT – It’s time for the next generation of students to join us! Milford Public Schools invites families of children born on or before September 1, 2020 to register for Kindergarten.
If your child is not age-eligible (born September 2, 2020 through December 31, 2020), please use the online registration form to request a waiver.

Kindergarten registration will be conducted exclusively online using the PowerSchool Parent Portal found on the district’s website at https://www.milforded.org/page/registration. Families are asked to read the instructions found there before they begin, as several documents will be required to upload to complete their child’s registration (see below).
Documentation You Will Need to Register Your Child

- A certified copy of your child's birth certificate
- For Homeowners: mortgage/deed or tax bill for the residence
- For Renters: lease or rental agreement signed by the landlord, including the landlord's contact phone number
- (2) Recent Utility bills in the same name to the same address (landline phone, water, electric, gas, oil or cable tv)
- A copy of the student’s latest physical exam (must have occurred within the past 12 months) and immunization record
For children currently attending either a Ready to Learn or Preschool Program within our district, you do not need to complete the online registration. If your child was born between September 2, 2020, and December 31, 2020 (and is not age-eligible), please indicate on the Kindergarten Notification Form in PowerSchool if you would like to request a waiver.
After the registration is complete, families will be notified by the school. In the spring, eligible students and their families will be invited to attend an in-person event.
