The Milford Little League softball team had an incredible season. Its only two losses came in the World Series.
MILFORD, CT — Milford Little League softball's stunning journey this season ended Saturday after the team lost 1-0 to the Philippines team in the World Series tournament.
Milford softball only lost two games the whole year, both in the World Series tournament, according to the New Haven Register. Pitcher Sophia Horvack threw a one-hitter and struck out five batters.
