Milford Man, 19, Seriously Injured in Motorcycle Accident: Police
Milford police are investigating and asking if anyone witnessed the accident to contact them.
MILFORD, CT — The Milford Police Department is currently investigating a serious motor vehicle accident that occurred on Labor Day at around 11:50 a.m. in the area of Woodruff Road and Burnt Plains Road.
Preliminary investigation revealed that a motorcycle was traveling northbound on Woodruff Road near Burnt Plains Road, police said in a news release.
The operator, Alexander Mizzoni, 19, of Milford, lost control as he was approaching the intersection of Burnt Plains Road causing the motorcycle to fall, throwing the operator off of the motorcycle and striking a vehicle that was stopped at a stop sign, police said.

The motorcycle operator was transported to a local hospital for his injuries. At this time he is in critical but stable condition, police said.
