Milford Female, 19, Sexually Assaulted Juvenile: PD

The alleged sexual assault occurred over a 10-month period of time, Milford police say.

Correction: Mliford police originally said the suspect was a male, they've updated their news release to say the suspect is a female.

MILFORD, CT - A Milford female, 19, has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a juvenile victim in Milford, police said Friday.

On Sept. 8, 2015 the Milford Police Department received a report of a past tense sexual assault of a juvenile victim. An investigation into this allegation was conducted by the Department’s Special Investigations Unit, police said in a news release.

"Through the course of this investigation, the Special Investigations Unit determined that a female identified as Chyna Lipnickas, 19, of Marble Lane Milford, did engage in sexual activity with a juvenile victim between October 2014 and July 2015," Milford police said in a statement.

She was taken into custody on March 3 and released on a promise to appear in court. She's been charged with first and second-degree sexual assault, risk of injury to a minor, second-degree threatening, and third-degree assault.

Milford Police Special Investigations Unit took Lipnickas into custody on March 3, 2016 and released him on a Promise to Appear with a court date of March 4, 2016.
