Milford Man Accused Of Assault: Police

The accused was initially given a $10,000 bond, police said.

MILFORD, CT — A Milford man, Michael Miranda, 40, of Franklin Road is accused of assaulting a woman, police said.

On May 22 police responded to a Franklin Road home on a report of a possible domestic violence incident, police said.

"Investigation led to the arrest of Miranda who is accused of grabbing a female by the arm, pushing her face toward the wall, and knocking a phone out of the hand of another female," police said in a news release. "A juvenile was present during the incident."

Miranda is charged with two counts of disorderly conduct, third-degree assault, risk of injury to a minor, and criminal attempt to commit third-degree assault. He was given a $10,000 bond.
