MILFORD, CT — A Milford man, Gerald Vandrooge, 30, of Bridgeport Avenue, is accused of yelling threatening messages at a woman and during a physical altercation between the two of them a knife was involved, police said.
Police responded to the home on Feb. 2. Upon police arrival, Vandrooge was aggressive towards officers while being taken into custody, police added.
He is charged with third-degree assault, disorderly conduct, second-degree threatening, interfering with an officer, and three counts of risk of injury to a minor.

He was given a $5,000 bond.
