Milford Man Charged With DUI In School Zone: PD

MILFORD, CT — A Milford man was charged with driving under the influence in a school zone after being pulled over Thursday morning, according to police.

Officers observed a vehicle traveling 42 mph in a 25 mph zone on Landsdale Avenue in a school zone. The vehicle traveled over the yellow line and drove in the wrong direction.

Officers pulled the vehicle over and Clement Bellegarde, 58, was found to be intoxicated, according to police.

He was charged with driving under the influence, failure to drive right and traveling unreasonably fast in a school zone. He was released on a promise to appear.
