Milford Man Charged In Head-On Shelton Crash
The head-on crash left two victims in serious condition.
SHELTON, CT — A Milford man was charged with DUI after a head-on crash in the area of River Road and Nettleton Court March 4, according to police.
Ryan Searles, 29, of Milford was driving southbound on River Road when he crossed over and struck a northbound car head-on, said Detective Richard Bango, police spokesman. Officers also found cocaine in Searles' possession, Bango said.
Two occupants of the other car involved in the crash were extricated from the wreck and transported to the hospital in serious condition. Their wounds are non-life threatening, Bango said.

Searles was charged with DUI, possession of narcotics and failure to drive in the proper lane.
