Officers found a handgun at the scene of the crime, which witnesses said Miner used to shoot Spray, according to police.

The prosecution said that Miner and Spray had gotten into a fight when Miner went back to his room and got a "ghost gun" he had purchased off the internet, then struck Spray with the gun which fired, fatally wounding Spray.
