Milford Man Hits Cars, Damages Residences With Vehicle: Police

Police say they responded to an accident Sunday night.

MILFORD, CT — A Milford man, Zachary Cardellichio, of Whippoorwill Drive, is accused of damaging residences and striking two parked cars, police said.

At 9:07 p.m. Sunday, police responded to Anderson Avenue on a report of an accident. Cardellichio is accused of driving his car with a possible braking problem, police said.

"The vehicle struck a guide wire off the roadway at the intersection of Anderson Avenue and Hunter's Run. Cardellichio's vehicle continued traveling off the roadway causing damage to residences on Hunter's Run, Anderson Avenue and Lyda Drive. The vehicle came to rest in the driveway of a Lyda Drive residence after striking two parked vehicles," Milford Police said.

He is charged with reckless driving and failure to drive right.
