Milford Man Rents Car in 2006, Never Returns It: Police

There’s not a ton of information here, but what Milford police released is definitely interesting,

Police say that Michael Whelan, 53, of the Boston Post Road, allegedly rented a vehicle from a Bridgeport Avenue business in October 2006 and never returned it.

He was arrested this week on a warrant and charged with third-degree larceny and was released on a promise to appear in Superior Court, Oct. 27.

Police didn’t say why it took nine years for Whelan to be charged.
