Milford Man Sexually Assaulted Juvenile Over 9 Years: Police

Milford police say the man was initially held on a $75,000 bond.

MILFORD, CT - A city man is charged with allegedly sexually assaulting a juvenile over a nine year period of time, police said in a news release Monday.

Police said on Dec. 15, 2015 they received a report of a juvenile victim making a statement regarding inappropriate sexual behavior with an adult male.

An investigation into this allegation was conducted by the Department’s Special Investigations Unit.

Through the course of their investigation, the Special Investigations Unit determined that Loren I. Manes, 45, of 21 Wayland Road, is accused of sexually assaulting a juvenile victim in Milford, and that these incidents occurred from around 2006 through the summer of 2014, police said in a statement.

On March 28 Superior Court, Milford officials did issue an arrest warrant for Manes.

Manes is charged with the following:

four counts of risk of injury

four counts of first-degree sexual assault

Manes was held on a $75,000 bond.
