Milford Man Sexually Assaulted Minor In Fairfield: Police
The man is accused of sexually assaulting a juvenile "numerous" times dating back to 2005, according to police.
FAIRFIELD, CT — A Milford man is accused of sexually assaulting a juvenile “numerous” times dating back to 2005, according to Fairfield police.
Jose Deleon-Castaneda, 45, was arrested Wednesday on a warrant and charged with first-degree sexual assault, third-degree sexual assault, and fourth-degree sexual assault.
Deleon-Castaneda is accused of sexually assaulting the victim, who was known to him, on “numerous occasions” in Fairfield, according to Lt. Edward R. Nook Jr.

The incidents went back as far as 2005, Nook said.
“Numerous witnesses were interviewed, and a confession was obtained from Jose Deleon-Castaneda, substantiating the allegations made against him,” Nook wrote in a news release.

Deleon-Castaneda was held in lieu of a $500,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.
