Milford Man Tried to Record Female Taco Bell Employee Using the Bathroom: Police

Police say the man admitted to trying to record a female employee using the restroom.

MILFORD, CT — A Milford man is accused of placing a cellphone in the women's bathroom at Taco Bell in order to capture video of a female employee using the restroom, police said.

Police said at 11:45 p.m. Monday, officers responded to Taco Bell at 543 Bridgeport Avenue on a report of possible voyeurism. Investigation led to the arrest of Nathan Kogut, 24, of Darina Place, who admitted to placing his cell phone in the women's restroom at the restaurant while recording, in order to capture video of a female employee using the restroom, police said.

Kogut is charged with second-degree breach of peace and voyeurism. He was released after posting a $1,000 bond and given a court date of Feb. 7.
