Milford Man's Estate Seeks Millions After Fatal Fall: Report
The man fell from a ladder while working on a job site last summer, according to a lawsuit.

MILFORD, CT — The estate of Francisco Martija, of Milford, filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the owner of a Wilton building where the 62-year-old man fatally fell from a ladder last July, the Connecticut Law Tribune reports. The lawsuit seeks millions of dollars.
The TIAA Board of Overseers owns the building located at 10 Westport St. in Wilton, which is where the accident occurred. The lawsuit claims that the ladder wasn't properly secured and there was no safety harness and Martija didn't receive the training necessary to complete the dangerous work, the Connecticut Law Tribune reports.
