Milford Officer Injured During Arrest: PD

A man who was wanted on an arrest warrant injured a Milford police officer during an arrest, according to police.

MILFORD, CT — A Bridgeport man was charged after he injured an officer during an arrest, police said.

Officers stopped Gerard Harris in a motor vehicle on July 15. He had an active arrest warrant for first-degree assault out of Bridgeport.

Harris, 59, resisted arrest and an officer was injured, police said. He was charged with interfering with an officer in addition to the warrant first-degree assault charge.
