Milford Officials Seeking Moratorium On This Specific Use: Report

MILFORD, CT — Well this is interesting. Top economic development officials are seeking to have the Planning and Zoning adopt a moratorium on self-storage facilities in Milford, according to the Milford Mirror.

A public hearing will be held on the topic. It appears as though the city is a very popular place for self-storage companies after approving two applications in 2015, Schoolhouse Road and Bridgeport Avenue. And there are six other self-storage places too in Milford, the Mirror reports.
