MILFORD, CT — The Milford Planning & Zoning Board is debating a proposal from Mayor Tony Giannattasio to ban applications for new smoke shops in the city, according to Hearst Connecticut Media.

The board kept the public hearing on the issue open at its Tuesday meeting. The proposal involves amending zoning regulations to prohibit opening any new smoke shops, tobacco stores, and vape shops in the city, Hearst Connecticut reported.
