Milford Police Chief's Brief: Shoplifting, Car Thefts, Drug Overdose
Milford police reported the following incidents Dec. 15 to 19.

MILFORD, CT — The Milford Police Chief's Brief lists the following incidents Dec. 15 to 19:
- A male was arrested after pulling the fire alarm at Milford Hospital.
- A purse was stolen while a customer was shopping at Walmart.
- A female turned herself in for a larceny warrant.
- A female was arrested for shoplifting at Walmart
- A female was arrested for shoplifting at Macy's.
- A female was arrested for DUI after crashing on Viscount Drive.
- A male was arrested for domestic violence after violating a protective order. He also had two arrest warrants.
- Police responded to a suspected drug overdose on Robert Treat Drive.
- A BMW X3 was stole from Highview Avenue.
- A Mercedes was stolen from Gulf Street.
- A window was smashed on a vehicle on Bertrose Avenue.
- One car motor vehicle accident on North Street. The driver had a warrant out of West Haven and was turned over to their custody.
- Male collapsed at a New Haven Avenue business and was taken to the hospital where he died. The investigation is ongoing but nothing suspicious is suspected.
- Milford police responded to a suspected overdose on Edgefield Avenue. An officer administered Narcan and the person became alert and conscious. They were transported to the hospital for treatment.
- An Audi Q-5 was stolen from Harborview Avenue. The car was later recovered unoccupied in Bridgeport.
- Theft from several vehicles on Oriole Lane.
- A Mazda CX-5 was stolen from Hawley Avenue and recovered unoccupied in Middletown on Tuesday.
- A vehicle was rifled through on Avon Street.
