Milford Police Department Helps Make Children a Little Safer

Local little league officials were concerned after a CT girl died playing baseball recently and asked the Police Department for help.

MILFORD, CT — After the recent death of a Connecticut girl playing little league baseball it sparked a conversation between the Milford National Little League and the Milford Police Department about what can be done to ensure the safety of Milford children.

The result of the discussions was that within 24 hours automated external defibrillators (AED) were delivered to the little league fields to ensure the safety of the Milford children.

Milford National Lou Gehrig Little League (MNLGLL) has around 400 children playing baseball each season and well over 1,000 Milford residents visiting their fields through the season.
