Milford Police: Man Told to Stop Vehicle, Refuses, Takes Off Onto I-95
Police say the man originally ran a red light.

Milford police say Jason Lee, 38, of Bungay Road in Seymour is accused of failing to listen to a police officer Wednesday evening who instructed him to stop his vehicle and he ended up taking off onto Interstate 95.
Police said an officer observed a vehicle driven by Lee not stop for a red light on the Boston Post Road. As the officer attempted to stop the vehicle, Lee disregarded the officer’s lights and sirens and continued onto I-95, police said.
The vehicle eventually stopped for police. During the stop, Lee refused to comply with the officers’ efforts while being taken into custody, police said.

Lee did not have proof of insurance for the vehicle. He was charged with failure to obey traffic control signal, distracted driving, failure to obey officer’s signal, engaging police in pursuit, having no insurance, interfering with police.
He was held on $1,000 bond.
