Milford Police Officer Cares For Child After His Mother Hospitalized
Often they say a picture is worth a thousand words and that is certainly the case here in this heartwarming story.

MILFORD, CT — This story is truly heartwarming. A Milford police officer went way above the call of duty and provided care for a child who was all alone after the boy's mother was hospitalized, Milford police said.
Police on Thursday shared the story of Officer Maria Frey who on Aug. 17 had to send the boy's mother to the emergency room leaving him all alone. Frey then did something extraordinary.
"She provided care over the next 3 hours. She provided, on her own, diapers, food and formula until she located a relative in NY who responded to Milford," Milford Police said on social media.
