Milford Police Officer, K9 Play Role In Tracking Suicidal Man
A police officer and his K9 partner are being lauded for helping to find a Trumbull man who fled his home and hid in the woods.
TRUMBULL, CT — A Milford police officer and his K9 partner played a role in finding a suicidal man who fled from his Trumbull home in the early morning hours Tuesday.
Milford police posted the following on Facebook:
"After a lengthy track, Officer Owens and K9 Rip saw the male ahead of them trying to make his way through a wooded tree line. The male continued to run and elude police officers on-scene. The K9 track continued through many streets and back yards at which time K9 Rip entered another wooded area and located male who was trying to conceal himself in the woods.
