Milford Police Officer's Act of Kindness Takes Off on Social Media

A city resident captured the feel good moment and its already generated more than 1,000 Facebook likes in a few hours.

MILFORD, CT - It’s been a pretty amazing less than 72 hours for the Milford Police Department.

On Friday, it was revealed that Patrolman First Class Paul Mazzara saved a life by reviving a person who was unconscious and had no pulse on Snow Apple Lane.

Now comes news that a Milford Police officer, whose license plate on Sunday morning was “29-MFD” did something that has already gone viral in a few hours, resulting in more than 1,000 Facebook likes Sunday and numerous comments from residents.

On Facebook, Milford resident Rodney Bresnan shared the following and a picture too:

“So this happened this morning. We have a neighbor who is a bit older and enjoys walking outside. Watching her cross through the crosswalk, this Cop, stopped, parked his car, got out and walked with her to her home. Absolutely OUTSTANDING. His plate was 29-mfd. I am sorry i don’t know his name, but i did feel like this should be seen. Thank you,” Bresnan wrote.

And the comments and likes on social media have since exploded.

One resident wrote, “No surprise Milford Police are the best.” Another person wrote, “This shows there are good policemen and policewomen out there.”
