Milford Police Searching for Daylight Bank Robber

The man demanded money from a tell at the People's United Bank on Boston Post Road.

Milford police are investigating a daylight bank robbery that occurred Tuesday.

Police said that around 4:15 p.m. a man entered the People’s United Bank, located at 1636 Boston Post Rd. and passed a note to a teller stating he had a weapon and demanding money.

No weapon was displayed during the robbery, and police said, the man left on foot in the direction of Woodruff Road.

The suspect is described as a thin white man wearing an oversized gray T-shirt, cargo shorts, a blue baseball cap with sunglasses on it, dark sneakers and white socks.
