Milford Ready To Learn Preschool Applications Being Accepted

MILFORD, CT — Milford Public Schools is now accepting Ready to Learn preschool enrollment applications for the 2023-2024 school year.

Children must turn 3, 4 or 5 years old on or before Jan. 1, 2024. The program operates 50 weeks a year for 10 hours per day, and children must attend daily for six hours or more. At least 60 percent of children enrolled must be at or below the state median income. Parents/guardians must be currently working or seeking employment.

The program is accredited through the National Association for the Education of Young Children.

In addition to completing the jotform, you must submit verification of income by emailing the first page of your 2021 income tax return (be sure to blacken out any confidential information) to Meredith Toth at mtoth@milforded.org. The subject of your email should state RTL 2023-2024 and your child’s name.

In the Spring of 2023, we will notify you via your personal email address as to whether or not your child has been accepted into the Ready to Learn preschool program for the 2023-2024 school year.
Please note that if you do not need childcare during the summer months, Milford Public Schools offers a part-time preschool program through Pupil Personnel Services and a school day/school year program at Foran High School.
