“We looked at candidates throughout the Y and within our community to fill the district executive director role. Nicole stood out among everyone. Being a committed YMCA professional and Woodruff Family Y leader already, assured us that we had the leader we were searching for,” said Woodruff Family Y Board of Managers Chairman Dustin Riedel.
“Nicole’s vision, Y knowledge and experience combined with her passion in child care and summer camp will expand easily into the Valley community. We are convinced that the Valley Y will have strong leadership for years to come,” said Howard Olderman, Valley Y Board of Managers chair.
“We are excited to promote Nicole into the role of District Executive Director,” said Timothy Bartlett, CCCY chief operating officer and senior vice president. “Nicole has made an impact with the children, families and adults in the greater Milford community. She is a recognized Central Connecticut Coast YMCA leader responsible for leading community Y initiatives that promote healthy living, youth development and social responsibility. We look forward to seeing her passion and vision advance the Y’s mission and deepen our impact in the Valley community.”
