Milford Restaurant to Appear on 'Chopped'

The popular restaurant will appear on the highly rated Food Network's 'Chopped' program. They will appear on the family edition.

Rainbow Gardens, a popular restaurant in Milford’s downtown is getting some national exposure.

John and Heather Profetto, who own and operate the restaurant, shared the news on social media Monday afternoon.

“Rainbow Gardens is going to be featured on Chopped Family Edition. The episode airs Tuesday December 15th at 10:00pm. Watch Heather, John, Kate & Ryan compete for the $10,000 prize!,” the post says.

Chopped first aired in 2009 and more than 300 episodes have aired and each show attracts more than 1 million viewers. An astounding 26 seasons have been filmed already.

Because the show hasn’t aired yet, details as to what happened can’t be disclosed.

But in less than two hours the post has more than 50 likes and numerous comments from friends and well-wishers.
