Milford Saves Taxpayers $650K Through Energy Efficiency

MILFORD, CT — The City of Milford and the Milford Public Schools were recently recognized as an energy leader for having the largest number of buildings (16) in the UI territory receive the ENERGY STAR© Certification.

For its work on energy efficiency, the City and Schools have realized approximately $650,000 in energy savings and were awarded a combined $735,000 in incentives to upgrade efficient lighting and control system.
