MILFORD, CT — The school board has come to terms on a five-year contract with Durham School Services, according to Hearst Connecticut Media. The new contract includes a 19.75% pay hike in the first year, then stable 4% increases each year after that.

The deal was approved at the Board of Education's Nov. 25 meeting and will go into effect at the beginning of the next school year.

Transportation costs will increase $883,000 in the first year, which a school official said brings payment more in line with Durham's costs.
