Milford Schools Fund Therapists Despite Budget Cuts: Reports
Milford Public Schools have found a temporary solution for funding clinical therapists for three schools.

MILFORD, CT — Despite budget reductions for the next fiscal year, the district will be able to add clinical therapists at three schools, Hearst Connecticut Media reported.
The Board of Aldermen's approved budget includes $110 million for schools, about $1.3 million less than the Board of Education requested.
The $150,000 in funding for Bridges Healthcare therapists will come via a Medicaid account, though a district administrator said this is a solution for one year only.
