Milford Schools: Snow Days Won't Be Remote Days
Snow days will remain snow days, and won't be remote learning days.
MILFORD, CT — There is a chill in the air, and that means it's time to start thinking about snow days in the coming months.
Milford Public Schools will treat weather-related school closings as a day off from school, Superintendent Anna Cutaia said in a letter to the community. The state Department of Education doesn't allow remote learning for weather-related closings and delays.
Parents should make sure their contact information is accurate in Powerschool to ensure they are notified of weather-related delays and closings. The district will also send out notifications via social media and local news media.
