Milford Shooting Leaves 1 Man Injured: Police
Police found large quantities of drugs and a loaded gun during an investigation of a shooting Thursday night.

MILFORD, CT — A man was shot in Milford on Thursday night, according to police.
Police responded to 26 Gulf St. on a report of a man shot at 10:39 p.m. Police arrived and found that the man had "sustained a grazing wound to the head from a single shot that had been fired from outside the residence, through a second story window," according to a statement.
The man was transported to Bridgeport Hospital where he was treated and released.

Police obtained a search warrant for the address "and signs of significant drug activity have been discovered."
Police have seized over 75 pounds of marijuana from the home along with other items associated with dealing drugs such as a scale and a currency counting machine.

Police also found a loaded Glock pistol with an obliterated serial number hidden between two couch cushions.
Detectives and members of the Crime Scene Unit are still on the scene completing their search.
The victim is not cooperating with the investigation, according to police.
Detectives believe that two perpetrators fled the crime scene in two vehicles, one of which belonged to an associate of the victim.
Detectives believe that this car is a newer model black Mercedes Benz crossover type vehicle, possibly a GLE model.
"We are confident that this was an isolated incident and that there is no further danger to the public," police said.
