Milford Students Making Parts for NASA's International Space Station: Report
The techniques the students are utilizing are so advanced, even the most experienced machinists haven't learned them yet.

MILFORD, CT — A group of students at Platt Technical High School in Milford is working on building parts which will be used on the International Space Station, reports WTNH.
The students are participating in a class working through a program entitled High schools United with NASA to Create Hardware (HUNCH). The precision machining class students are learning to use cutting edge computer-driven systems to create parts, which are made to NASA standards.
The report further indicates that students are learning techniques that experienced professional machinists don't know, because the technology is so new.
