Milford Teacher 'Changed My Son's Outlook Regarding Math'

Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

My son has never had an interest in math. I fact, he’s had horrible anxiety around the subject. He’s never liked it…until this past school year. Mr. K changed my son’s outlook regarding math. He made it fun, worked with him and encouraged him. As an educator myself, I can recognize an outstanding teacher when I see them. Mr. K is 100% that teacher.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

Mr. Kamakowski cares about the kids he teaches. He understands their individual strengths and weaknesses. He pushes them to realize their ability. Mr. K goes above and beyond to make learning fun.
