Milford Woman Charged With DUI After Accident: Police

MILFORD, CT — A Milford woman, Melissa McGeough, 48, of Old Point Road, is accused of driving while under the influence of alcohol at the time of an accident earlier this week, police said.

On Jan. 12, police responded to Lansdale Avenue near the intersection with Briggs Court on a report of a car accident, police said. Police said one vehicle was involved and the car crashed into a utility pole.

McGeough is accused of driving while under the influence of alcohol and she refused a breath test, police said.

She is charged with DUI.
