Milford Would Lose Big Under Malloy's Budget Proposal
Governor's budget released on Monday would lower Milford's state allocation by 10 percent from what was already approved by legislature.

MILFORD, CT - The bad news keeps coming for Connecticut municipalities as the state attempts to claw out from under its budget mess.
Under Gov. Dannel P. Malloy's revised, proposed adjustments to the fiscal year 2019 budget previously adopted by the legislature state municipal aid would be cut nearly $100 million - both in the education and non-education side.
For Milford, it would be a 10 percent cut from the previously approved $14.37 million total - to $12.91 million.
