Christine Walsh Selected as Docent for Hamilton College's Wellin Museum of Art

CLINTON, NY -- Christine Walsh, of Milford (06460), has been selected as a student docent for the Ruth and Elmer Wellin Museum of Art at Hamilton.

Wellin Museum student docents provide visitors with information about the museum, its exhibitions, and collection. They assist with programs and events, and offer the public a better understanding of the work on view. The docents also provide tours for local school and special interest groups, as well as regular walk-in groups and individuals.

Walsh, a sophomore majoring in history, is a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy.

By bringing the classroom into the museum, the Wellin functions as an exceptional teaching tool.
