Milford's New Automated Garbage Collection Program Begins Next Week
You can also easily recycle your old garbage cans.

MILFORD, CT — Milford’s new and improved Automated Garbage Collection Program will begin next week, the Mayor's office said.
Starting this coming Monday, October 31, 2016, residents are asked to please begin using their new wheeled totes for garbage pick-up.
For those residents who have still not received their requested 48 or 96 gallon container, we ask for your patience as the City finishes delivery and distributes totes to the remaining Milford homes, according to a news release.

For the first month of this new program, Public Works will collect and recycle your old and unwanted garbage cans which have been emptied and placed at the curb. If you have any questions or would like to request a 48-gallon container instead of a 96 gallon tote, please contact Public Works at 203-701-4690.
