CONNECTICUT — Rain, rain go away....that is likely the thought on all of our minds this morning as the rain continues to fall. A Flash Flood Watch is in effect until noon for all of Southern Connecticut. A Hazardous Weather Outlook is also in effect for the entire state due to flooding and heavy rain concerns this morning. Yes, more heavy rain is about to enter the state again after 8 a.m. Tuesday.
Connecticut will finally begin to dry out this afternoon and no rain is in the forecast through next Monday, and we definitely deserve a break.

Scattered heavy rain showers and isolated thunderstorms will continue to move across the area this morning, with an additional 1/2 to 1 inch of rain possible.
"Additional heavy rain moving over already saturated grounds, may produce localized flash flooding. This will be especially true in areas of poor drainage, low-lying areas, and in urban areas."
