Neighbor Dispute Leads To An Arrest: Milford Police

Police said the accused was upset that a neighbor woke her up early in the morning.

MILFORD, CT — A Milford woman, Isabelle Martins, 32, of Naugatuck Avenue, was charged after being involved in a dispute with a neighbor, police said.

On July 27, Milford police responded to Naugatuck Avenue home on a report of a breach of peace.

Investigation led to the arrest of Martins, who is accused of screaming at and scratching a neighbor because Martins was awakened by the neighbor walking up the stairs at 5 a.m., police said.

During the investigation it was determined that Martins had an active warrant for her arrest and is accused of sending a man, that has an active protective order against Martins, several threatening text messages on July 13,police said.

Martins is charged with violation of a protective order, disorderly conduct, third-degree assault, second-degree threatening, and third-degree harassment.

She was given an $8,000 bond.
