New Contract, Pay Raise For Milford Schools Superintendent

MILFORD, CT — The Board of Education voted recently to approve a new three year contract with Superintendent of Schools Anna Cutaia which includes a 2.5 percent pay increase, which brings her salary to $202,950.

Cutaia has been on the job since Aug. 1, 2018 and she has drawn strong reviews for her performance and high-energy enthusiasm throughout the district.

Board of Education Chairwoman Susan Glennon said, "The Board recognizes Dr. Cutaia’s hard work and enthusiasm since stepping into her role as Superintendent of Milford Public Schools last August. She embarked on an entry plan that met with stakeholders across the community, evaluated the practices and processes in place within the district and delivered some immediate enhancements, such as the 1:1 Chromebook initiative and the introduction of world language at the elementary level this fall. She has demonstrated an innovative and laser-like focus on high quality teaching and learning that will improve opportunity and outcomes for our young people.

"The Board believes our school system is one our community can be proud of and is excited to see the continued growth of Milford Public Schools under Dr. Cutaia’s leadership," Glennon said.
